About the Event

Nicole Lee, internationally certified Qigong teacher trained in both modern and classical styles, is travelling to Adelaide and providing this 3-day (60-hour) foundational course for the first time ever at Breathe Stretch Float.

What is Qigong?

Qigong is many things — embodiment, movement therapy, self-care, energy skill, gentle exercise. It’s a soothing body, mind and spirit therapy. Qigong brings together acupressure, slow stretches, gentle flowing movement and stillness. This magic potion releases tension and calms your heart and mind.  It is medicine for the body, mind and spirit.  Practicing regularly offers a variety of health benefits - it helps improve functioning of your heart and lungs, and digestive, immune and lymphatic systems. Releasing stress and tension can also help decrease inflammation and chronic pain, while improving your sleep quality and energy levels.  And if you practice enough? Qigong can often feel like you’ve finally come home to yourself.

What you will learn:

  • Foundations and fundamentals of Qigong
  • Practice styles, approach and framework
  • Oriental Medicine foundations and connections
  • Basic Five Element theory
  • Standing, alignment and posture
  • Conditioning and Regulating Qigong forms
  • Five Harmonies Qigong sequence
  • Zhan Zhuang Qigong standing form
  • Practice framework and basic class programming
  • Guidelines and precautions for working with Qigong students

Upon completion, you’ll receive a Qigong Teacher Certificate of Training, accredited by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT).

If you've been looking for something to help you personally and or professionally, take advantage of the early bird pricing and payment paln options before February 15!
